Counseling Equisessions™
The Wisdom of Horses Horses help you to cultivate compassion by accepting you as you are. By honoring you with their trust and respect, horses reinforce your emotional authenticity and groundedness. They do not judge your thoughts or feelings. Horses respond to whether we are telling the truth, or whether our actions and words are congruent expressions of our feelings in the moment.
Horses are highly sensitive to energy, movement, body language and intention or mental pictures. Because horses have an innate ability to sense and reflect human emotions, they provide excellent mirroring of our feelings and issues. An Equisession offers you the opportunity to experience your authentic self. In a session with the facilitator, a horse professional, and the horse you will have a safe encounter in which you might halter, groom and lead the horse in an enclosed pen or over the fence. No knowledge of horses is required and no riding is usually involved in the first sessions. Benefits of a Counseling Equisession™
The Equisession facilitator interprets the horse's instinct and actions to help you experience what the horse wants you to know about yourself in that moment. The benefits of an Equine Facilitated Session are:
- Increased self esteem
- Clarifying boundaries
- Healing trauma
- Partnering and team building
- Facing difficult feelings
- Slowing down
- Inspiration and vitality
- A strong sense of well-being
Chi Kung classes are avilable for individuals, small groups and large groups. Consider combining a Chi Kung session with an Equisession. This is a good way to center/ground yourself and increase the quality of experience of your Equisession! |
