What is Taoist Counseling?
Taoist counseling is an integration of psychodynamic, Gestalt and Family Therapy techniques combined with Taoist philosophy and Healing Tao practices.
Taoism advises us to live a balanced life through the use of grounded energy transformation. A Taoist session with Ada includes one or more of the following: meditation, Chi Kung exercises, bodywork, self-massage, guided visualization, counseling, and Wu Chi breathing.
Individual sessions are tailored to each client’s specific intentions. Together, counselor and client select the modalities which prove to be the most potent and easy to access.
Sessions with couples, families, and classes are structured according to the goals of the group.
